T-Mobile MONEY offers customers a high-interest, mobile-first checking account with no account fees. I was tasked to design an insert for the T-Mobile MONEY program, which would accompany a first-time T-Mobile MONEY user’s new card. The insert would facilitate the setup process for the new card and creating the account.

The feature we most wanted to highlight was member’s ability to get their paycheck deposited up to 2 days early, so we led with that message and used key visuals like the calendar icon and the dancing man to help communicate the concept and the excitement. I created a layout with a clear and concise message, supported by branded visuals and icons.
This image was selected from an internal photoshoot reel, however, it was in raw format and needed retouching. I was able to remove sweat stains and excess shirt wrinkles realistically in Photoshop, as well as extend the magenta background seamlessly and realistically for the final result.
On the back, we shared a peek at what the app should look like on your phone alongside the card that all the users received in this mail piece, so that users would have a visual confirmation of the app. Here we devoted most of the space to step-by-step directions that help users set up their accounts, alongside custom-branded QR codes to make the process even easier.
