Park University is a private liberal arts university in Parkville, Missouri, founded in 1875. More than 16,000 students worldwide pursue degrees at over 40 campus locations nationwide and online. The beautiful flagship campus in Parkville offers a range of programs, a traditional university experience, and athletics. The university mascot is the Park Pirates.

Pirate Takeover Billboard

The Pirate Takeover concept had already been developed when I joined the Walz Tetrick team, and it was a really fun concept to get to execute in Photoshop.

I used over 9 different photos to make it look like pirates had climbed up onto the board and defaced it playfully, painting the student with stereotypical pirate features.

State Line Billboard

A last-minute media opportunity came up for a billboard located on a bridge spanning the Kansas and Missouri state line, and Park University requested a quick board concept that would feature their campus locations in both states.

Keeping in line with the pirate idea, we came up with this treasure map board. It was a great way to advertise the convenience of the locations in a glance, while keeping with the playful and school spirited pirate concept.
