Legends Outlets: Children’s Spring Fashion

This project was a Spring/Easter campaign I designed for Legends Outlets to feature their children’s stores during March & April. I wanted to incorporate the spring colors and a fun and family-friendly sense of fashion without being too snobby. The crayon treatment of the title was a fun and colorful solution for child-like but readable typography in the usual brand font.

I designed this campaign for print and digital advertising. There was a large on-site sign (duratran) and smaller signs displayed throughout the grounds, a slider image for the LegendsShopping.com homepage, an eblast, social media square, and KCstar.com “Roadblock” digital ad set.

This ad appeared in local Kansas City publication, 435 Magazine.

These ads appeared in various placements online.

‘Roadblock’ Digital Ad Set

I also created a series of ads called a ‘roadblock’ (or sometimes a ‘takeover’) that are all seen on the same page simultaneously. This set would be on KCStar.com for the duration of their placement. One benefit of a series like this is the opportunity to get more information across, so we took advantage of one column for the ad message and the other column for a list of stores to feature. The top bar was just a ‘pencil’ banner until a consumer clicks on it and then the lower banner extended down from it.
