This project came on the heels of my agency’s new logo design for Grain Valley School District, located in Grain Valley, Missouri. With the new logo, fonts, and brand colors chosen, I was tasked to design collateral for the schools, including business cards, letterhead, email newsletter, name badges, polo shirts, and signs for the school district.

Business Card

Printed with full bleed colors, the bold gold back pops nicely while still being very readable. The seal appears subtly in the background. Soft touch on the front gives the card a clean and pleasant texture and lends a depth do the navy blue.

Letterhead

The letterhead has the full color logo in the top left, and the district headquarters’ address, phone, and website. It also has the ‘seal’ we designed as a tertiary brandmark stamped subtly on the bottom right.

Faculty & Staff Polo

Grain Valley requested a polo shirt with their new branding. In addition to the traditional logo on the breast, I also pulled the stripes out of the hill in the logo and used them in a subtle and abstract way to make the polo stand out a little more. The logo on the breast is embroidered, while the abstract stripes are printed.

Faculty & Staff Nametags

Featured on a woven gold lanyard, these nametags feature the new icon in a subtle tone-on-tone with the individual’s name and their job title as the focus, and includes a subtle “Grain Valley Schools” at the bottom.

Truck

Vinyl wraps brought the new branding through in an attractive splash of color on otherwise beige fleet of school district trucks.
